This seems weirdly familiar...I'm a #printmaker obsessed with linoprint. Here's my latest print based on the derelict Coronation Farm on the way to the Men-an-Tol in #Cornwall which was used as a location for the folk horror film #enysmen directed by @marghjenkin.bsky.social. Look at that blue sky.

I'll start with the perfect cinematography, which is the closest to actual 70s movies imaginable. Despite that and the fact that this is a ghost story with lots of intricacies, I feel I needed a cheat sheet. 3/10

Finally watched Enys Men. Intriguing and atmospheric, but I can't honestly say I enjoyed it, even as horror. Felt more of an art work than a movie. It needed a little more plot for my taste. Sorry. #moviereview #enysmen #horror

#EnysMen is about a woman alone on a Cornish island, taking notes on a flower every day.

The movie is guessing what is real, what isn't, and trying to make sense of the people that appear during the movie.

To say it is weird is something of a drop in an ocean of understatement.

Just been to see #EnysMen to tickle my folk horror loving itch. Still quite haven’t collected my thoughts on it but for a film about a naturalist I’m pretty sure choughs we’re still extinct in Cornwall in 1973.
