I feel so lucky that I got to go to #EpicWebConf this year! From being part of @jason.energy's Web Dev Challenge with @roxyrodbeck.bsky.social to presenting with @therealkiraai.bsky.social to seeing old and new friends, it was a blast. Anything @kentcdodds.com does is next level. Thank you all 💙

I struggle to find the courage, energy, and ambition to work on side projects; or do any sort of coding outside of work.

At #EpicWebConf I learned that I’m not alone in this and I found that to be very validating.

But I want to build cool shit outside of work. How/where do I find that spark?

Going to new conferences can always be full of anxiety - new people, a new environment, unknown expectations. But I really enjoyed my first time at #epicwebconf and exploring the beautiful outdoors of Utah 🙌 The talks were so varied & amazing, loved seeing them in person 🔥

@aaronfrancis.com at #epicwebconf gave a stellar talk on betting on yourself. Worth a listen for anyone.

He was just so genuine and when I told him about my studio project he was so sincerely engaged. He cared about it - it was awesome, really.

They usually say don't meet people you admire, but I'd say they haven't met Aaron, yet.

Day one was incredible. And I was interviewed on a box. 😅🤣
