I just sent my senators the following. Please feel free to send them this also. . Please vote "no" on H. R. 7661. This bill is inspired solely by the authoritarian need of Republicons to control gender expressions of American citizens and to control queer American children. The bill specifically forbids transgender issues from being taught or discussed, which is just the Trojan horse for anything not white, Christian, and heterosexual. It's blatant denial of rights to Americans. I do not support this kind of thinking and living. If Republicons cared about victims of child abuse, they would impeach Donald Trump and his appointees who are all over the Epstein client list but they don't because it's not about protecting children. Republicons don't care about representing queer Americans or people of color or children. It's sick. Say "no" to H.R.7661. Thank you.
