I've drawn the trip I recently made using nice EU-made maps Mapy.com and goofy Paint Online (BTW there are better web editors to do it, e.g. #photopea)

We had a great tutorial at #EuroScipy2025!
We had the opportunity of showing off the features of skrub to a wide audience, and show how they can be used in a pretty complex use case.
I just got @pangeo.io stickers! Seems small, but its awesome to have something from the software and community that I am so passionate about.
I never thought I would be this excited about stickers, but here we are I guess ๐คฉ
Thanks @jacobtomlinson.dev for the stickers ๐

"Reasonable Performance Computing" ๐ sig-rpc.github.io one of my highlights from #EuroSciPy2025!
At #EuroSciPy in #Krakow, Poland. Scientists of all ages and all kinds of science had talks how they use Python, Jupyter and other tools in their everyday work.

Day 2 of #EuroSciPy2025 starts with a keynote by Dawn Wages (chair of the @ThePSF board) whoโs taking us on an epic journey of scientific discovery with Python.
And now a promising talk from the PyAnsys team about, yes, documentation! #EuroSciPy2025
For years I advocated for the unbundling of SciPy.
Looks like parts of it are already on that path! TIL about optimagic #EuroSciPy2025

Today at #EuroScipy2025, @glemaitre58.bsky.social and I presented a tutorial on pitfalls of machine learning for imbalanced classification problems.
We discussed what (not) to do when fitting a classifier and obtaining degenerate precision or recall values.
