Watching the head & neck stretches as part of the breeding displays of the #EuropeanShags on the rocks just off #DunbarHarbour #EastLothian - its head crest is very prominent and a vibrant green sheen on their feathers.

Another look at those stunning #EuropeanShags in #Iceland. 🇮🇸 Their deep green coloration isn't as obvious, but their crests are right up there, as well as the brilliant yellow just behind their gapes.
