The big #lichen #expedition started. Searching for #Evernia and #Ramalina species from Northern Sweden! For the moment the expedition is successful! Sometime we need it to use left behind hockey stick to reach the lichens!

What looked like a tuft of Beard (Usnea) Lichens turned out to be one of the larger growths of (I believe) Boreal Oakmoss (Evernia Mesomorpha) that I have found.
