Reading as TOLLBOOTH, I have been introduced to TOLBOOTH
Matt Walsh says, "Remember when they spent years telling us to panic over the hole in the ozone layer and then suddenly just stopped talking about it and nobody ever mentioned the ozone layer again?" Derek replies, "What happened is scientists discovered chlorofluorocarbons were bad for the ozone, countries believed them, the Montreal Protocol was signed, and CFC use fell by 99.7%, leading to the stabilization of the ozone layer, perhaps the greatest example of global cooperation in history."
Hey lovelies. In a world full of Matts, be a Derek x

Excellent Dept Of Materials Physics seminar on falling particles in the oceans by Soeren Akmerkamp yesterday. The particles are called 'sea-snow' and are highly porous but impermeable which I found hard to visualize! I have a different picture in my mind of the oceans now.. #EverydayIsALearningDay

Here’s a question for #ge24 How are a candidate’s surpluses distributed? If there are 5,000 ballots to be distributed, who determines which ballots are chosen? Don’t judge me; there are experts on here and I’m presently power hosing the dog! #everydayisalearningday
I didn't realise the spine didn't extend the full length of the tail plumage seen! Admittedly, I didn't realise the size of the legs either, given the distinct 'waddle' for movement!
