Resting on the open page of my sketchbook, dated Sunday 11th May ’25. Two delicate sprigs of blue Germander and Thyme Speedwell are laid on white paper, each labelled in soft handwriting. A fluffy dandelion seed head, a small spiral snail shell, and a pigeon’s feather—found on the path to my studio—are arranged alongside a single fallen speedwell flower, like wildflower confetti. Above them, in flowing cursive, the words read: “Dandelion clock time is ticking towards Wildflower Hour… wildflower hours are made up of countless, precious moments like this.”
