Evidence Week in Parliament 2025 - Sense about Science In its eighth year, Evidence Week in Parliament created space for transparent conversations by bringing researchers, parliamentarians and the public to Westminster.

This year, more parliamentary offices than ever joined #EvidenceWeek. It reached 1 in every 5 MP offices, meeting a growing demand for research in policy.

From our reverse committee hearing, to trainings and policy briefings, a huge thanks to everyone who helped make it a success this year!

Fascinating to take part in #EvidenceWeek and discuss how publicly funded research can tackle our major challenges, from improving access to essential services to combating climate change.

It was great to meet with Windracers and SeaCURE to hear how they're innovating in their sectors.

“Science has recently been the professed interest of just a handful of MPs… But this year, something has changed.”

Our Director Tracey Brown explores Parliament's growing interest among MPs in science and research, and how #EvidenceWeek helps bridge the gap between policymakers and researchers.

Evidence matters. This week in Parliament, #EvidenceWeek is bringing researchers, MPs and the public together to look at how we use facts and data to make better decisions. A great reminder that good policy starts with good evidence.
