Weapons Engineering Technicians let out the TAPS (Towed Active-Passive Sonar) in preparation for a CASEX (Combined Anti-Submarine Warfare Exercise) as part of #ExALON. Once the array is out, it’s all on the Sonar Operators to detect & locate the targets. One ping!

Recently, #HMCSVilledeQuébec conducted various exercises with #HMASBrisbane and #BRPJoseRizal as part of #ExALON. From gunnery exercises to boat transfers to helicopter training, the ship and its crew have been busy demonstrating their skills and professionalism.

The #CAF is helping to kick off #ExALON in the Philippines! #HMCSVilleDeQuébec & a land-based team of #CAF members will be training together with Australia, the Philippines, & the United States on force projection in amphibious environments.
