Whilst the previous three #Excelis stories formed a trilogy, #BerniceSummerfield's #ThePlagueHerdsofExcelis was a sequel to the first chapter #ExcelisDawns. It even starred the wonderful
#KatyManning.
as #IrisWildthyme - which meant the story was already off to a great start.

#PeterDavison was also another strong part to #ExcelisDawns, because without him and Katy, it would've been a rather meh story. Despite having a quest storyline with Zombies and Anthony Head, the plot itself was actually the weaker element. The Doctor/Iris moments were stronger.
