Wryneck was still showing well around #TurfLocksHotel again today and feeling the heat at times. Also seen were Glossy Ibis flying around the #ExminsterMarsh main lagoon, Osprey with fish in dead tree west of Turf and Kingfisher south of the #TurfLockGates

4 Hobby, 30+ Swift, 10+ House Martin, Red Kite low over marsh, 2 Egyptian Geese and 17 Cattle Egrets with cattle, 3 Sedge and 5 Reed Warblers on #ExminsterMarsh + 24 Whimbrel around #Turf today

4 Little-ringed Plovers, 2 Barnacle Geese and c70 Brent Geese on a very windy #ExminsterMarsh this am @RSPBExeEstuary

Russian White-fronted Goose was south of #TurfHotel mid afternoon with the canada flock, 3 Red-breasted Mergansers, c800 each for both Golden Plover and Lapwing on the #ExeEstaury and c500 Brent Geese at #ExminsterMarsh

2 Marsh Harriers (m&f) with good no's of Wigeon, Teal, Shoveler and a few Pintail on #ExminsterMarsh + c800 Golden Plover, c350 Avocet, c550 Lapwing, c500 Brent Geese on the #ExeEstuary from #TurfHotel today

5 Whooper Swans on #ExminsterMarsh seen from the canal towpath before flying out towards the #ExeEstuary mid pm + c350 Black-tailed Godwits + Short-eared Owl seen quartering the marsh late pm

Good views of the juvenile Black-winged Stilt on #ExminsterMarsh from the viewing platform along the canal towpath this am. Also seen were Snipe and several House Martins
