He got some ham as a trade! I'm very pleased, and he did let me pet him some more before he snatched at me a little and fish-hooked my pointin' finger. Honestly, he acted like he was waiting for me to freak out at him, like he was gonna have to run for his life. Nothing breaks my heart more. He will be getting friendly visits as long as he likes! Boo-boos can heal (I'm taking care of it! 😹) but when you lose the trust of a stray, it's gone for good. We'll work on it!!
