Byleth (left) is sitting on the grass with his hands on his knees, blushing and looking up at the sky. Next to him is Shez (right), sitting more casually on the ground, with his hands on the ground behind him. He is looking at Byleth with the intent to listen Byleth: “Shez, was I the first person you ever loved?”
Second Panel: Same scene as last panel, different perspective. Over the shoulder shot with the back of Byleth’s head (left) closest to the front, with Shez (right) shown at halfbody. Shez is pointing to himself, blushing with embarrassment and sweating. Shez: “Ah, no. As much as I’d like to say you were, I actually had a thing for Hilda before” (Hilda is another fire emblem character) Byleth: “Then why pick me over her?”
Third panel Only the sky and clouds are visible. Close up of Shez (left), showing only the top of his head and his left eye. Faint text above him reads “FLASHBACK” to indicate he is having a flashback, as shown by the horrified look on his face. Next to him in a small thought bubble is Holst (right), Hilda’s older brother. Holst is pointing angrily and yelling at Shez from the thought bubble. Small text next to him reads “*scary older brother* Holst: “If you even LOOK at my sister, I will KILL you brutally.”

He is awkwardly looking away from Byleth, with clear discomfort on his face from having remembered being threatened by Holst. Shez: “Just couldn’t see it working out, y’know?” End of comic
