He did it! 🎉 Diego finished his 12 weeks of observation after the 12 weeks of FIP treatment. At his sickest, his weight dropped from 12 lbs to 9 lbs, he was intensely jaundiced, and all of his internal organs were damaged. He’s now 15.7 lbs and very energetic. #fipwarrior

Friday was bitter - sweet - sad.
Big is - was - our oldest #FIPwarrior. Without him I would have never learned to inject those meds!! He was among the first #FeLVies to be treated & paved the way for all the others when clinics still denied FeLVies could #survive #FIP

Only 6 months go we added Gilgamesh to our family. 5 months ago he got diagnosed with FIP. We didn't give up, treatement was so incredibly though. But now he's more than a week off the meds! It feels like seeing him rolling on a bike downhill for the first time without training wheels.
