Played 3rd for the #FaceMelters today since we had an abundance of outfielders in having almost half subs, and managed to go 3/4, get an out at 3rd (miracle given I was otherwise fighting my outfield instincts to backup rather than cover the base xD), and ultimately we won 15-13! #SoftballSeason
Very excited for another #FaceMelters win 16-12 to bring us to 4-2, against our favorite team that always keeps it close (we lost to them the last two times we've played them), despite the initial chaos of parades making many of our teammates late and some other shenanigans o.o #SoftballSeason
I don't know the final score (last I remember was 11-10, so maybe 18-10ish?), but what a win today for the #FaceMelters!! I think we stayed ahead the whole game even when it was close, and truly everyone had some play or hit (or both) that was such a highlight of the game!! #SoftballSeason
Alas the #FaceMelters got our first #FallBall loss today 20-9, in a day filled with weird hops and other tough plays, but I was our team MVP for today! Went 2 for 3 with an RBI, played first the first inning and otherwise handled the outfield difficulties well in left field #SoftballSeason
It's already #FallBall, and despite anticipating anywhere from 10-13 of our players today, we ended up with only *9* players in the first game and yet a 27-5 win, and a 30-11 win (where we started DOWN 6-0) with an extra player from the other team from the first game! #FaceMelters #SoftballSeason
The #FaceMelters may have had their season finale today in the first game of playoffs, but I'm so proud of how this team has played this whole season. It certainly helped to lose to a team we enjoy playing against (in a pretty close game), but I love my team so much across the board #SoftballSeason

Alas, our second loss, but honestly maybe the funniest game we've played in a minute? Always love playing the team we lost to for the vibes, but also we've decided it was just too nice a day for anyone to remember how to play softball in the best way we know we can xD #SoftballSeason #FaceMelters
A close game (in which I mostly walked when at bat and played left field, but did get an out when I played 2nd for the last couple innings!), we got our first loss today for the #FaceMelters at 14-15. Looking forward to more similarly competitive games though, it was a fun one! #SoftballSeason
My softball team is 3-0 after some wild back and forth games (which you wouldn't guess when the final scores today ended up being 26-19 and 25-16- the major differences all came in the last inning iirc), so we're off to a great start of the #SoftballSeason #FaceMelters

Two more wins in the bag for the #FaceMelters! Unfortunately had a few injuries including my own, slipping on the ground past first; so far everyone seems to be okay, and I was able to get back up to bat and do some gentle base running before the end of the game! #SoftballSeason
