Today, we kick off a weeklong Foundations of Laboratory Leadership & Management training for 20 staff from our #Fajara, #Keneba & #Basse field stations.
The training will provide participants with skills for managing laboratory systems & enhancing leadership in #GlobalHealth research programs.
Last Saturday, volunteers from the @mrcunitgambia.bsky.social planted 92 indigenous & endangered trees in Kunjo, #Farafenni, a step towards climate action, restoration & a healthier future.
Just like our #Fajara field station, we hope the Kunjo site will flourish into a thriving ecosystem.
Yesterday, we received science students from American International University West Africa on a tour of our laboratory facilities in #Fajara.
As part of their visit, the students explored our latest research technologies and the modern equipment we use to strengthen health research.
