Val Caron, Falconbridge and Copper Cliff fire stations could shutter in a month City staff is proposing to close the stations earlier than planned to save $74,000 a year; city council has yet to decide the matter.

The city's GM of community safety recently met w VFFs to discuss the closure of #CopperCliff, #ValCaron and #Falconbridge fire stations. City staff is recommending the closures to save $74K. Council will debate the topic at upcoming #Budget2025 deliberations.
