Drawing on diverse backgrounds, the panelists will share their expertise and perspectives on a range of issue-areas affected by recent anti-immigration policies. The Effects of Forced Family Separation in the Rio Grande Valley: A Family Unity, Family Health Research Update Human Impact Partners (HIP), in collaboration with La Unión Del Pueblo Entero (LUPE), conducted a health impacts study to determine what happens to child and family health when a simple encounter with law enforcement snowballs into potential detention and/or deportation.
