I'm not terribly picky about tropes (I think), but I *would* like to see more romance options other than enemies to lovers. I still like enemies to lovers, but it'd be a nice change.

Year Wrap-Up: 2025 saw a lot of distractions and tribulations outside of writing, but it was a good year for me as an author. Ten acceptances, three novelettes reprinted, good progress on my story collection, and I discovered the joy of drabbles!

I got a lot done this year! 2025 felt like it kicked my butt, but I still managed to grow. I published two books. I got two more audiobooks released thanks to my fab narrator! I'm looking forward to the projects I have outlined! Read so many great books!

2025 was torturous, slow, agonizing, but I made it through. We all did. On writing, well, I managed to get a few sentences, scribbles, etc. done. Mostly did worldbuilding. I hope next year to get some more done. Good luck to everyone & Happy New Year. See u all next year.

I also finished a chunk of my YA fiction, "Broken to Outspoken". Fingers crossed it will be a 2026 release!

4. Went to a writing conference for the 1st time since 2017 *and* presented at that conference

I had a pretty good writing year!
Explored new ideas, wrote stuff I found inspiring and fun, completed my third serious novel, and got a favorite short published in an anthology!
The year sucked in a lot of IRL ways, but my writing was a highlight for me!
