We're outdoors on an overcast day with a few breaks in the light cloud cover allowing blue sky through but no hint of much sunshine. In front of us, a little raised up on a rough, concrete base, there is a rusted cube about a metre wide on each side. Each face is a square sheet of orange rust with large rivets down the edges connecting it to its neighbours. Two thirds of the way up the vertical sides of the cube there are circular holes, about the size of an adult's head. Our angle looking towards the cube at a diagonal lets us see through the two holes on the two sides we can see and through the holes on the far side beyond. Behind the cube there is a landscape of short green grass interspersed with hedges and bushes that are sparsely covered with dark leaves.
