FASD prevention isn’t just about women.

Men’s alcohol use, mental health & life experiences influence:
👉 Partner drinking
👉 Pregnancy environment
👉 Child outcomes

Leaving men out = missed prevention.

#FASD prevention = shared responsibility.

A Neurobiological Approach to Supporting Individuals with FASD in Educational Settings
The impact of FASD is not solely brain or body, but an integrated experience of both with the nervous system as a primary conduit for how information is interpreted and presented. Pulling from research on how health impacts learning combined with insights from polyvagal theory and applied educational neuroscience, we will explore how the synthesis of these factors impacts a student’s ability to receive appropriate and effective educational care.
