A painting depicting the transverberation of Saint Teresa. The work depicts, at center, a woman in a brown robe with a rosary at her waist, under the traditional nun's black-and-white cloak and head covering. At the right of the painting an angel in an orange gown lifts its right arm to plunge a pointed implement into her heart; where it enters her body there are flames. Behind her and at the left of the painting, two other angels, also in orange gowns, support the woman.
