The Herald 25 December 1974 Breaking News DAVENPORT GOES ON RAMPAGE BALTIMORE'S SHAME Baltimore residents were shocked to wake up to a big "beautiful" bimbo with a black beehive with and fuzzy pink slippers stomping on the display packages alongside the city's traditional Christmas tree and screaming "I hate you! I hate it here! I hate Christmas!" Retail employees were nearly caught beneath the sleepytime footwear as they rushed to their early shifts at Hochschild Kohn & Co. and Levitz Furniture. Authorities were beside themselves in how to handle the enormous teenager, easily the size of a Macy's parade balloon. Nicholas C. Equality MOTHER CRIES: "NOT ON CHRISTMAS!!" HO HO HO MY GOSH!! The towering teen was identified as one Dawn Davenport, a junior at St. Mary's High School. A search of the Davenport home turned up nothing but women's flats, and ugly ones at that. Neighborhood nuisance Ida Nelson had nothing good to say: "I don't know who she thinks she is, but she had better stay away from my Gator!" Anyone with information is asked to call the Baltimore Police Department.
