We have a twenty five centimetre (ten inch) silicon circular blue feeder that is divided by raised wave shaped walls, that form cavities. The cats have to extract wet, or dry kibble food from the cavities using their paws/claws to flip the food out, or force the silicon walls apart with their muzzle to get at the food. Rowan is feeding from it very rigorously, because her favourite fish flavoured kibble has been added to it. In the background on the floor is a wood newspaper caddy and wood stairs leading down to our front door.
Rowan didn’t want to join me at the table for breakfast. There was some really good kibble in her feeder. 🐟🐠

We had some of his toys in the laundry/bathroom on our ground floor. In this photo he’s crouched upright on the green, yellow and grey vinyl tile patterned floor. He’s playing with a wooden turtle shaped ball track toy. He’s facing away from me. At this young age his fur has many black spots around his shoulders and back and some of his spots are so close together they are forming stripes. As a senior cat he still has spots on his belly and a few on his legs, but overall mostly stripes. Beside him in the photo is a shower stall a pink ball and on the other side of the turtle is a brown cat bed with a yellow play mouse in it.
It’s #ThrowbackThursday and in 2013 D’Artagnan had just about as many spots, as stripes.

Rowan is just barely opening her eyes as I disturbed her sleep when I walked up to take the photo. I surmise from this that Rowan wasn’t in a very deep sleep, so must be almost ready to get up. D’Artagnan's eyes are hidden and he never moved, so I’m guessing he’ll sleep for a while yet.
#TopUpTuesdays are an excuse for a recharge. Rowan is at about 97%. Her eyes are just opening. D’Artagnan is probably at 50%. Hard to tell, his charge indicators are hidden.

Just as I pushed the button she got up and walked towards the phone to brush up against it. She then wandered away and wouldn’t let me get close again. Her face is slightly out of focus and her whiskers are blurred. It captures her just before she brushes against my phone. Her left front leg is placed forward on the carpet as she steps toward me. The cardboard scratching post can be seen on her left.
