Still not sure I fully buy that this high school kid is able to jump right into cooking at the level they're showing, it feels like we're missing part of his life that gave him the basic experience since his dad did all the cooking and the cafeteria job we first see seemed early. #FermatKitchen

A bit more insight into what broke Gaku as a flashback to lunch at the math Olympiad rather than just the silent test rooms we saw before.

A bit frustrating that we don't get a really useful answer as to why the main character Gaku froze up in a competition. Fortunately there's a cute gal that seems to like him because he's smart and can cook good.
