Our Vice President @profaliceroberts.bsky.social on why she joined Humanists UK after speaking with fellow humanist @jimalkhalili.bsky.social. We're looking forward to hanging out with Alice as part of our stellar array of speakers this June at the #FestivalofHumanism!
We were privileged last year to host Azeem Ibrahim in Sheffield at our Convention (now the #FestivalofHumanism). His lecture was a real standout – a clear-eyed and compelling defence of democracy at a time when it feels increasingly under strain.
