I'm guilty of doing this. I blame the 80s soap operas I watch. They somehow make me implement cliffhangers at the end of my chapters, and it always takes me a while to edit the next chapter, so... whoops 😅😂 #FicWriterProblems

This is why I always finish a pretty accurate draft of a fic before I start posting it. (Not that my fics are super brilliant or have a zillion readers - I wish - but I still don't want for potential readers to experience "oh no, an abandoned fic" with my stuff). #FicWriterProblems
