You are walking in a forest and stop to take a photo. The path beneath you stretches out ahead, winding a bit through the evergreens. Fallen soft redwood needles cover the red, soft soil making you look down more often not to stumble over any hidden tree roots that zipzag along the path. Tall redwood trees and some shrubs line the path ahead. Birds are chirping and you are bathing in the bits of early morning sunlight that makes its way through the tree cover. A glorious spot to step and admire nature.
Personally, I could absolutely do without the tedious tasks of scanning and inverting images.. but also nothing beats the first look.
This one, from a recent hike, reminds me of the wallpaper my grandma had in her guest room.
