Make a list of which businesses have their flags at half-mast and which don't. Maybe contact them & let them know what their decision says to you & how it will impact your $ choices. Share your findings with friends.

From HC Richardson: Yesterday the Biden administration announced the finalization of a new rule that will remove medical debt from all credit reports. Until now, medical debt has meant that consumers could be denied mortgages, car loans, or small business loans.

Disengaging from consumerism: Chemical edition
Simple formulations work just as well as the marketed & packaged stuff. Vinegar, steam, friction, & sunlight will clean many, many things. Add a good surfactant (e.g. Dawn dishsoap; Dropps pods) and you've got all you need.

I was today years old when I learned that there is a field of practice that combines finances and counseling. Though I'm sick of the word trauma being attached to EVERYTHING, I am intrigued by the question: if Financial Trauma exists, what is it?
