Another job done 👍
Fixed the tear in my Castelli gilet. It's not a pretty job and if it was just a cheapy I'd have slung it out, but Castelli ain't cheap. The material isn't easy to work with either and to make life just that little more awkward I used invisible thread 😖😁 #Cycling #MakeDoAndMend

I've been spending a wet sunday doing some repairs, including the rather fiddly job of fitting a new zip to the leg of a pair of bibtights.

Last project this year finished, I have another set like this that needs some work, lovely set of oak drawers, with some nice details, like the little dovetail joints and brass handles, I've done some small repairs and refinished the wood.

I simply seamripped the Potholder, used the pieces as templates and cut out new fabric. Then I sandwiched the new fabric between the pieces of the nitten, right sides facing and sewed it all back together. Took 10 minutes.
I sewed the binding on by hand.

Hand knitted mittens in dark Grey with a light grey circle pattern all over and the thumbs are striped. The mittens each had a hole and that hole was fixed and then a heart in teal yarn was embroidered over it.
Was getting our warm things ready for the season. I made theese mittens years and years ago. They have a knitted lining and are so warm, but I noticed a hole in each one. So I fixed them.
