The old strap, with a fix I attempted earlier. Of course, the strap was too short and resulted in a lopsided hammock. A coiled grey or tan strap with a small, dark fabric loop at one end, resting on a pillow with a red and grey plaid pattern.

A blue plaid sleeve covered in white running stitch mends as well as two heart-shaped patches in red patterned fabric and outlined with thick red stitches. Repairing the left side of the sleeve is in progress, more white stitches stacked in curved lines.
Same sleeve but on the left side there's now a new rectangular red patch outlined in thick white stitches! The red patterned fabric has sort of vaguely neuron/mushroom shapes laid out geometrically.
