Wedding's beloved Fischerpinte is no more.

The Bezirksamt won't let the beergarden/boathouse reopen following the death of the proprietor in February. The authorities actually want to knock it down, after 100 years on the shore of Plötzensee.

Fischerpinte — Abandoned Berlin Fischerpinte was a beloved old-Berliner boathouse, pub and biergarten on wooden decking at Plötzensee that the Bezirksamt won’t allow reopen after the proprietor died.

And it's a beloved place that has sadly met its end – the Fischerpichte by Plötzensee – which was probably the best place anywhere in Berlin in summer to enjoy a beer.
