A metal hose, basically armored cable sheathing with a rubber hose inside it
Can these hoses be (easily) repaired? I'm guessing not, but would love to be wrong. If they can't be repaired can I at least recycle it?

Picked up this beauty for 5 bucks at the local fleamarket.
It works, but the DVD player has no power and the geometry collapses when the image is too bright.
Needs a bit of work on the PSU I think.
