The deer is white because it is a colour that allows a good camouflage in snowy places, and represents the discrete and mysterious unexplored nature of this territory.

The flag is divided into three horizontal sections: red at the top with seven yellow stars in an arc, blue in the middle with seven more stars aligned horizontally and a central emblem of six outward-pointing yellow arrows, and green at the bottom with no symbols.

Kozzakhi had several flags through the centuries, but the most common used is a flag which got three horizontal bands with the colors pinkish red, blue and, green. Red-pink represents passion and fire. Blue symbolizes water and widsom. Green is the color of forests and nature. The flag also got depicted twelve golden stars, representing the original twelve tribes mentioned in most texts, and three arrows symbolizing both peace and war.
