๐ŸŒ Flame robin (Petroica phoenicea) 

The flame robin is a small Australasian robin native to southeastern Australia, including Tasmania. It is known for its vibrant plumage, with males (pictured) having a bright red or orange breast and throat, contrasting with a dark gray or black back. Females are less colourful, sporting a gray-brown plumage. Flame robins inhabit diverse habitats, including forests, woodlands, and mountainous regions. They are insectivorous, feeding primarily on insects and spiders. No subspecies are recognised.
