My goal is to write 200,000 words this year. Preferably all in fiction I can publish. If I hit that goal I'll be able to get my new Christmas book done, #FleetOfMalik 3 done, and have something new for my agent to shop.

3 chapters got edited today and I added a little over 1k.

#FleetOfMalik 3 ( #ForEveryAction #FEA) currently sits at 60,000 words.
Book 1 was 90k. Book 2 was 140k (enemies to lovers sometimes takes a little bit more work, okay?).
Book 3 should be around 100k. I have 32 writing days... this is doable!
Okay... Let's do this. The last #FleetOfMalik book needs to get done, and it needs to get done before I travel.
I am publicly promising to hand whatever I have to @wrytersblockdh.bsky.social by 15-AUG-25. He's my beta reader and he will have this manuscript by August 15th.

I have 15 scenes/chapters left to write in this book and they're usually 2k-3k words so that's only... 45,000 words.
If I keep it that short my beta readers and editor will all be impressed. The last #FleetOfMalik book came in at over 120,000 words. Mostly because it's a true Enemies-to-Lovers.
Starting the writing week out with 55,500 words in #ForEveryAction. Let's see if I can get it to 65,000 by the end of the week.
