🇫🇮 took part with 6 F/A-18 Hornet fighters, and 🇸🇪 with 7 JAS 39 Gripen fighters.

The formation flight was also part of Sweden’s series of Christmas tree flights.

Saab JAS 39A Gripens 39136 and 39196 of F7 Skaraborgs Flygflottilj (F7 Wing) based at Såtenäs, pictured from a Saab Sk 60C of the wing's liaison flight. The A models were retired 15 years ago and parts of several airframes were used to build newer C models.
