Folk remedy for snow blindness from Wesleyville, NL. "In my grandfather's day when there were no doctors most minor illnesses were cured by home remedies. The cure which they used for snow blindness was to eat tea leaves. They say this would actually cure the snow blindness. The tea leaves may also be put in linen and put on the eyes for a while."
