Pieces of a traditional-style quilt block are being sew together on a very old non-electric Singer sewing machine. Nearby is a stack of fabric pieces in pink and a black-on-white small shirting print.
Assembling the quilt blocks for a new #FolkSchool project on my 1893 treadle Singer. We'll do a #quilting bee over the summer then auction the finished quilt at next Feb's fundraiser event. It's a reproduction of a locally-important historic quilt. #craftsky #LivingHistory #TraditionalArts
