✅ Demand-side policies can help create fair #FoodEnvironments by improving food-related competences and the availability, affordability, and appeal of healthy, sustainable options.
❌ Current policy approaches that mostly focus on consumer education and information aren’t ineffective enough.

After some hiccups, registration has now reopened but the breakout session dedicated to discussing #FoodEnvironments and #PublicProcurement seemingly disappeared...?

While #FoodEnvironments only got a quick mention in #EUAgriVision, they largely shape our food choices - as they determine which foods are available, accessible and/or affordable to people.
