Football is nothing without its fans. Last night, I was proud to vote for the #FootballGovernanceBill, putting fans back at the heart of football ⚽️
The Bill will ensure owners are financially suitable & give fans have a say in how their clubs are run, protecting club heritage.
An Independent Football Regulator has been a very long time coming and I cannot wait to see the IFR in action, that will help restore trust and confidence in the beautiful game.
