Don't make it too obvious though, hide it in an inconspicuous box and call it “safety”. Don't keep this data forever; up to a year is probably fine. Make sure someone must at least type "asdf" for access - we don't want "bad" people abusing this or we'll have to go back to probable cause and those pesky warrants!
