One of my favorite things to do in the summer is take in foster pups. I was not sure if I was going to be able to do this, this year,but the fates intervened with the cutest pup .

Sky says Hello!

Most dogs will pull on the leash if you stop walking during a walk. When I stop to talk or pick something up, Sky waits patiently. She sits politely, ears perked, watching me.

In the time it took me to make the previous post, Sky fully fell asleep cuddled next to me. Now she's gently snoring and chasing squirrels in her sleep.

This might be the first time Sky enjoyed a cuddle. She normally prefers her kennel during a storm.
An hour ago she politely asked to join me. I patted the cushion and she got comfy.

Sky loves watching the birds, squirrels, and cats that wander through our neighbor's backyard. She's respectful when small animals come into our yard, but they still get spooked. They don't realize how low Sky's prey drive is.
