What the heck does “Freelance Kansas” mean? To be clear: Freelance Kansas is a boutique marketing firm, and the name plays on Free Kansas and the Bleeding Kansas period of history.

So, what does the name “Freelance Kansas” mean? A.) maybe it’s obvious — I’m a #freelancer and I live and (mostly) work in #Kansas. But B.), there IS an underlying purpose, and it has to do with my new home state’s history — #FreeKansas, #BleedingKansas… I’d love to tell you more:
