And btw it's a fine printer for printing photos on. I bought it when I was making a maquette for a photo book (that I never finished). So if anyone in the #Edinburgh area is looking for a colour printer (that also scans) I have one going free to a good home.

Last week's #FreeCycle fruits included a massive haul of about 20kgs of quince. These are like hard, sour apples, but are packed with flavour, nutrients and fibre. We will be producing quice jelly, chutney, juice and other nutritious meals over the next few weeks. @freecycle.bsky.social
Last week, thanks to #FreeCycle, some folks in a neighbouring village gave us a Pattypan squash. Today, we hollowed out the centre and replaced the pulp and seeds with a whole Camenbert cheese.

Say it again for the people in the back. I’m a #Freecycle lead moderator of my town and I feel the exact same way. Yeah it’s free but at least give someone an opportunity to get it bug free.

The yarn gods looked on me with favor this week, passed along 5 bag of novelty yarns, knitting needles, needlepoint canvases to share with others. Lots of cheery metallic, ribbon, fur yarns in bright colors.

Can’t believe my daughter’s luck!
She lives in a #DarkSkies area and asked on #Freecycle if anyone had an old #telescope they no longer wanted (her cheap birding ‘scope simply couldn’t cope).
A kind gentleman in York gifted her this telescope with a motorised equatorial amount!
I’m so jealous.
Manifesting is, shall we say, unscientific, but on the other hand #Freecycle has never let me down.
Used new easel pickup tomorrow.
