250 personnes environ qui ont contracté le coronavirus, qui sont en réanimation dans les hôpitaux de l'Assistance publique de Paris. Le chiffre augmente de manière importante. L'Assistance publique souhaite qu'il y ait 1000 lits supplémentaires en réanimation d'ici ce week-end, c'est le double de d’habitude. Il finit par éteindre la radio au bout de trois jours. Le bruit des ambulances ne cesse de lui tourner dans la tête, dès qu’il ferme les yeux. Sa seule consolation : les yeux derrière les mèches trop longues du garçon. Les deux jours après son escapade nocturne, Alexandre n’a toujours pas remis le nez dehors. Il a remplacé le café par un fond de thé noir assez dégueulasse, mais suffisamment fort pour le maintenir éveillé. Parce qu’à force de ne pas dormir la nuit, engoncé dans ses pensées sans fin, il a fini par passer ses journées dans un état semi-comateux.
