The Phantom wearing hand wraps, using the speedball, boxing training in a tent as part of an exhibition-style public training session in Vietnam during the war. On the wall are flyers for the USO Saigon (where story is based), and a fight poster “Kid Hercules v The Masked Marvel”, which was the heavyweight championship fight the Phantom fought in, in Lee Falk/Wilson McCoy’s king features daily strip “The Masked Marvel” (1948).
