Finally got to see a hog-nosed pit viper while in Costa Rica! 🐍This tiny venomous snake is one of the main reasons we were snake gaiters or rubber boots in the field. We saw this one near Estación Caribe in Rincón Rain Forest of @ACGuanacaste.
