Not #FridayFlorals (maybe this week now I'm back in town) but a lovely Tuesday bunch of imperfect homegrown cosmos. My parents dropped off something to my apartment while I was at work and left these as a surprise. 💜

Tonight's #FridayFlorals are these lilies I purchased a week ago - they didn't open until about Wednesday. They're my last for a while due to upcoming travel.

And this evening's #FridayFlorals are a lovely sunny bunch reduced from $20 to $12.60 at the supermarket. I cut them down by a good 10cm to put them in this glass jar. Love this for me!

I bought lilies again today - $15 for five stems of yellow - and added some cuttings of croton for bulk and colour. This photo is for #FridayFlorals but by Sunday or Monday they should look truly spectacular.

Once all the lilies had opened, it looked so spectacular that I didn't buy new #FridayFlorals today. I see now that they're past their prime and dropping a lot of petals - but look at them still!

I deliberately didn't photograph my latest #FridayFlorals until today, because these lilies ($10 from the German supermarket) needed some time to open. I love the way just three stems of this look in a tall vase.

A second week of #FridayFlorals and it's a $10 bunch of purple c-h-r-y-s-a-n-t-h-E-m-u-ms from the German supermarket. The dianthus was still good enough that I kept some to bulk things out a bit.
